This page explains what data we collect when you visit the FelloWs site, why we do it and what rights you have. It is important that it can be easily understood: if anything is unclear, write to fellows.care@gmail.com.
Who runs this site
FelloWs – Women Who Care is a project associated with Tech4Fem. There is no constituted association or body yet: FelloWs is a project still taking shape and, at this stage, is devoted to research and listening to the point of view of multicultural mothers. That is why fellows.care@gmail.com is the reference for privacy and for data; once the association is constituted, its name and registered office will take its place.
What data we collect
An email address, and only if you send it to us through the form or by writing to us. When you submit the form, the address is saved in a private project archive, accessible only to the people who run FelloWs, and used exclusively to contact you back. No other personal data is collected while you browse: we use no analytics tools, no advertising and no social network components.
Why
Only to get in touch with you: to answer a request of yours, to include you in the listening spaces and workshops of the community, to let you know when the project grows. We do not use your data for other purposes, we do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers.
On what basis
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which you give by ticking the box in the form or by writing to us on your own initiative. You can withdraw it at any time, without explaining why, by writing to fellows.care@gmail.com.
For how long
Emails collected through the form or received when you write to us are kept for as long as needed to reply and keep you informed about FelloWs activities, for no more than 12 months from receipt. You may request earlier deletion at any time. Connection data, such as your IP address, is not stored by FelloWs: the site keeps no record of who visits it and does not link a visit to a profile. Your IP address is handled automatically by the provider that hosts the site, which may log it for security and operational reasons only — for example to block attacks, abuse or faults — and does not use it to profile you or sell it. This is technical data the site cannot work without: without it your browser could not receive the page.
The FelloWs questionnaire on Google Forms
The external questionnaire collects answers about pregnancy, motherhood, and language and health and social care support needs, to help design FelloWs activities. Answers are analysed in aggregate form and are not linked to your name. Providing an email address is optional; it is stored separately from the answers and used only to contact you about this research and project updates. Answers and any email address are kept for no more than 12 months and may be deleted earlier upon request to fellows.care@gmail.com. The form is provided by Google, which processes technical data needed to deliver the service under its own privacy policy.
Read Google's privacy policyYour rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing or receive it in a readable format; you may object at any time. If you consider the processing unfair, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Updates
If the project changes — for instance once the association is constituted, or if we add analytics tools — this notice will be updated and the date at the top of this page will change.
Writing to the data controller
